Seesaw IAPM is a corner shop at the connection to the office lobby at L3, where good-exposure on both the shopping mall and the office side is needed. The Espresso machine is designed to face the mall corridor to attract attention from atrium whereas white marble counter, blackboard, signage, together with a long-green-wall background stands out as a holistic setting right in front of the office entry. Single origin handmade coffee is merged within the seating as part of the daily living room events.
The shop inherited its contemporary clean look, with a contrast of softness and hardness. Hard materials such as marble, stainless steel, tile cover the beverage area, and soft materials like wood, cork, green wall serve as a nature-close touch around the seating area. Each material has its own volume and altogether forms a motion space, each piece of furniture as well, is mediating between the solid and void spaces.
